Sandra Stewart Harris Pavilion Grand Opening
Wednesday, June 18th marked the grand opening and dedication of the Sandra Stewart Harris Pavilion at IPM Food Pantry. Additionally, the event kicked off IPM’s Summer Ice Cream Social series. With a ribbon-cutting hosted by the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce, jazz music by the Phil DeGreg trio, and caricatures by Joni Fleming, the afternoon was chock-full of excitement and celebration!
Supported by Health Source of Ohio, Connect Clermont, and The Thomas J. Emery Memorial Fund, The Gardens at IPM Food Pantry featuring the Sandra Stewart Harris Pavilion present an opportunity to provide our neighbors with fresh food. With plans underway to cultivate an annual pumpkin patch, fruit trees, and a “three sisters” garden of corn, beans, and squash, this vibrant community gathering space will serve as an educational and nourishing landscape that celebrates the native plants and the life cycle of food.
Honoring Sandra Stewart Harris’s commitment to education, the environment, and bringing people together, this space will feature community-centered gatherings such as the July Ice Cream Social with kids’ fun and the August Ice Cream Social end-of-summer celebration. Stay tuned for exciting updates about the project’s progress and upcoming events!
