Children's Ice Cream Social
On Wednesday, July 16th, IPM partnered with Mingles Ice Cream, Zak Morgan, Tucker’s Party Animals, Bikers for Christ, Cincinnati Face Painters, and Child Focus to offer a variety of activities, resources, and entertainment for children and families at our July Ice Cream Social.
As June 18th marked the grand opening of the Sandra Stewart Harris Pavilion, July’s Ice Cream Social was an opportunity to bring the community to the Gardens at IPM for summer fun!
Thanks to Tucker’s Party Animals, children and families were able to learn about bearded dragons, ball pythons, spotted geckos, and African spurred tortoises. The tiny hats the reptiles wore were a crowd favorite! Child Focus shared information about their services and gave away free goodies. Zak Morgan’s engaging performance featuring educational tunes about atoms and Fiona the Hippo was a highlight of the event. Attendees loved having a chance to move and groove! Bikers for Christ brought joy to the event with their delicious cotton candy. Additionally, Cincinnati Face Painter’s balloon animals, wands, and swords were a cool keepsake for such a lively evening.
With beautiful weather and a great turnout of over 200 attendees, the event was a success. This event was made possible by support from Park National Bank and Interact for Health.
We can’t wait for the third and final event of IPM’s Summer Ice Cream Social series. Please join us on Wednesday, August 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM for an end of summer cookout celebration.
